Marsha Meyer:

Happy New Year Pam!

The cruise was amazing and we truly enjoyed ourselves.  Thanks so much for the fruit plate you had waiting in my stateroom when we boarded.  There were some things we really liked about the cruise and others we didn't. Even though there were some negatives we had a great time and we will definitely do another cruise in the future.  I didn't take many pictures since I'm a terrible photographer but when I get the pictures from my daughter and son-in-law I will forward some to you.

Thanks for all your help.  You made the whole experience painless and more enjoyable!

Here are some critiques for your other clients, LIKED

The service - everyone was very helpful and waited on you constantly Maid service - it seemed as if they knew when you would be out of your room and would clean up at those times vs disturbing you while in your room.  They did a great job with that.

The boat and staterooms were very clean and sanitary.  In fact they stress that constantly.

Availability of food.  I liked having options for buffets, sit down dining, fast food, etc.

Spa - I had my hair cut as well as some spa treatments and was very pleased.

Choice of pools - liked the adults only pool and multiple hot tubs.  Would have preferred a larger adult pool since it was always packed.

Fitness facility - very large with lots of equipment and classes.  I loved the walking/running track on the top deck.

The islands and excursions were great.  My favorites were St. Maarten and Labadee Haiti.  We did a history tour and rum tasting on St. Kitts which was fun but wasn't that impressed with the island but was still beautiful.  We did a snorkel boat excursion on the Dutch side of St. Maarten which was very relaxing and lots of fun.  Since our time was short in San Juan we walked around the city and stopped for lunch in a small restaurant and tasted the local fare, which was delicious.  In Haiti we went on a boat to a sandbar and hung out there on floats and drank rum which was so relaxing.  If I were to go again I would definitely do the zip lining since it looked amazing.

Alcohol - I had heard drinks were super expensive on the boat but didn't think they were so bad.  I like margaritas which ran about $10 including the 15% gratuity but they were very strong drinks with top shelf liquor so I didn't drink many.  The had a large selection of specialty drinks, which was great.  However, I found their wine selection small for the white wines.

DIDN'T LIKE

The long lines to get on the ship.  This was our first cruise so was really surprised how long it took to go through security and get our set sail passes to board the ship.  We were in lines for almost 2 hours.  Laving the ship after the cruise was so much faster.

Food quality - while there was an abundance of food I was disappointed in the quality which I thought to be mediocre both in the Windjammer and in the dining rooms.  After the first 4 or 5 days it all started tasting the same.  I would have like to have seen more healthy options.  Other than fruit it was hard to find healthy snacks.  I would have loved some popcorn but there was none to be found.

Airport transfers - the transportation was great but thought it was way too pricey.  I didn't realize the airport was so close to the port so next time think I would just cab it both ways.

Crowds - it never really seemed crowded on the ship except at the pools which were very crowded so I think they could use larger pools and more chairs.

I think the cruise line does a great job of getting you off and on the ship for the excursions.  Very painless.

Even though there were some negatives we had a great time and we will definitely do another cruise in the future.  I didn't take many pictures since I'm a terrible photographer but when I get the pictures from my daughter and son-in-law I will forward some to you.
